Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Fly to Skardu / Gilgit & Drive to Hunza
Fly from Islamabad to the north, then drive along the Karakoram Highway to Hunza past Rakaposhi viewpoint. Check in for the night.
Day 2 — Central Hunza & Forts
Explore Karimabad with the historic Baltit and Altit forts, terraced orchards and the bazaar, ending with sunset at Eagle’s Nest.
Day 3 — Upper Hunza (Attabad & Passu)
Visit the turquoise Attabad Lake, cross the Hussaini suspension bridge and admire the iconic Passu Cones.
Day 4 — Khunjerab Pass
Drive up to Khunjerab Pass (4,693m) on the Pakistan-China border, the highest paved border crossing in the world. Return to Hunza.
Day 5 — Departure
Drive back to the airport for your flight to Islamabad, with final Karakoram views en route.
